Our story

They say *it takes a village to raise a child*—and in West Garfield Park, that village still lives.

Decades ago, front porches were sacred spaces, block clubs were family, and every neighbor had a stake in every child’s future.

Founded in 2017, Chicago Cultural Performing Arts and Media Alliance serves children and young adults from ages 7 to 24 (Transitional Age Youth) and adults over 24 through arts programs.

Today, Chicago Cultural Performing Arts Media Alliance (CCPAMA) is restoring that legacy.

We bridge generations through fine arts such as music, drama, dance, and Violence prevention—so our youth and adults don’t just survive the streets, they rise from them.

Leadership
